Regulation 14 Pre-Submission Consultation on the Draft Neighbourhood Plan

Once the consultation was closed, the individual responses were read, dissected and placed into the section of Policy within the Plan that they are addressing in an analysis document.  Responses from the public are anonymised but organisations are named.   The NHPlan Steering Group then considered the responses and adjusted the Plan (or not) according to their comments that can be found in the document in the end column (please click on the following link to the document):

On behalf of Teignmouth Town Council, the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group are pleased to inform you about the reaching another milestone along the road to submission of the plan for examination i.e. the closing of The Regulation 14 or Pre-submission consultation, which gave everyone a chance to see the revised version of the Plan.

The Draft Plan contained revisions made in light of comments received from residents after the previous consultation and was accompanied by other supporting documents on various topics

This version of the plan also had to be shared more widely e.g. with various statutory and strategic organisations such as Government Agencies, Local Authorities and other organisations / businesses with an interest in the plan

A limited number of paper copies were available to ensure that those who cannot or don’t want to engage with new technology are still able to be included in the consultation exercise.

All responses should have been made on the Response Form supplied as this made it easier to get consistent analysis.

The static summary exhibition was located at Bitton House in the Foyer

The public were encouraged to come and have a look.
